Bhrigu Lake is located at an elevation of around 14,009 ft in Kullu district, Himachal Pradesh, to the east of the Rohtang Pass. The lake is named after Maharishi Bhrigu, one of the seven great sages. The real treat of this lake is the special meadows, stretched far and wide, undulating and almost endless. You can walk barefoot feeling the dew under your feet and watch beautiful horses gallop and sheep graze. Lush greenery everywhere against the deepest blue sky. The special part about this trek is that you will be surrounded by snow peaks that stretch to the horizon, especially when the meadows are covered with snow, camping then becomes all the more fun.
